  Briard Rescue Trust

Briard Rescue Trust is a 501(c)(3) charitable trust formed to further the Briard Club's mission of protecting Briards in need of rescue.

The trust's goals include education of the public regarding the needs of Briards in rescue, education of persons who wish to help Briards in need, encouragement and support of responsible breeders of Briards, and establishment of a system that encourages effective communication among all individuals involved in rescue.

Consider the rescue trust as a networking device to aid all Briards in need.

Financial

The trust will provide financial funding for the medical needs of any Briard in rescue. These costs can include microchipping, spay/neuter, and vaccinations. A cap of $500.00 per dog is in place.

Rescuers

Along with financing, the trust will provide a network to help those rescuing Briards with access to a list of waiting prospective owners and a list of possible volunteers to help those rescuing Briards.

Dogs In Need

The trust will not rescue individual dogs but will attempt to find volunteers who are willing to take the responsibility of a rescue.

Prospective Homes

Rescue will keep a list of people who are interesting in the adoption of an older dog in need of a loving forever home.
